Onecom Group, the UK’s leading Cloud Communications Managed Service Provider, announces an enhanced five-year strategic partnership agreement with Vodafone to deliver innovative Communication Technology solutions including mobile airtime, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital connectivity solutions. These enhancements are set to benefit over 70,000 existing business customers and a significant addressable market.

Having partnered since 2002, Onecom has consistently been recognised as Vodafone’s “Strategic Partner of the Year” since the award’s creation 13 years ago. Onecom was also recognised as the “Innovation Partner of the Year” at the award’s inception.

This latest agreement is the largest partner agreement of this type entered by Vodafone. This agreement reinforces the longstanding partnership, encompassing the ongoing management of over 400,000 existing business mobile users whilst offering a diverse range of connectivity options including SIP, FTTP, and SoGEA technologies, as well as IoT solutions.

For over a decade, Onecom and Vodafone have developed a joint proposition that encompasses a broad portfolio of products and services that have been tailored for businesses of all sizes - from SoHo and SMEs to mid-market and Enterprise organisations. Services are delivered directly and, also since 2021, through Onecom Partners’ 400-strong channel resellers.

A fundamental building block of the partnership has been driving customer efficiency and digital engagement. The development of OneCloud provides customers with a unified management tool, leveraging artificial intelligence and API integration into a single service that provides a consolidated portal for comprehensive management, in-depth monitoring, and intelligent integration.

Designed for simplicity, OneCloud removes complexity and duplication whilst reducing costs. The latest enhancement is hosted on Google Cloud and harnesses Vodafone’s leading 5G, IoT, and SIP technology to provide a seamlessly aggregated connectivity network enabling customers to access the market-leading capability they chose, in the most flexible, secure, and resilient manner.

Onecom Group Chief Executive, Martin Flick, commented: “Vodafone & Onecom have an unrivalled pedigree in delivering communication solutions to diverse UK-headquartered organisations. Our rich heritage has seen us expand across the entire portfolio with a broadly 50/50 split of diversity across mobile and non-mobile technologies, with solutions that deliver huge customer benefits aligned to business outcomes.”

He added, “With the support of LDC investment in 2019 Onecom has doubled revenues and simultaneously diversified and expanded product set and extended market reach, opening up a significant addressable market for both parties”.

“As we look forward to the future and anticipate the opportunities the 4th Industrial Revolution presents, our renewed strategic partnership together brings boundless possibilities for our customers and channel partners alike whilst opening up access to new markets and sectors and widening our geographic footprint across the UK.”

Commenting on the new agreement Vodafone’s Head of Indirect Business, Kathryn Platt added: “Bringing the energy, alignment, connectivity pedigree, and experience we have developed together, we are delighted to renew our partnership with Onecom for an unprecedented five years. This long-term partnership further cements our commitment to providing best-in-class solutions together so we can ensure customers are in the best position possible to achieve their business goals and extend our reach and penetration into the market.
