https://onecom.co.uk/services/business-mobile/Vodafone has released their new 5G GigaCube router and it looks like it’s going to be a gamechanger for business. The fully portable device is going to deliver instant internet at much faster speeds and can be brought directly to you.
The GigaCube was officially launched on 15th July by Vodafone, after their 5G network launch on 3rd July. The device will enable businesses to bring the 5G network to them. The Huawei B1818 device is said to deliver speeds up to 1Gbps on up to 64 devices simultaneously within a 90-metre range.
Instant internet
Fast internet is integral in today’s world, especially for businesses with multiple employees downloading at the same time. With the new 5G Vodafone GigaCube, you can get access to speedy internet, instantly.
Broadband connections take time to set up, and often, you need to wait around 10 days when you’re setting up a new connection. If you’re moving office, setting up a pop-up site or organising a conference, you can bring your GigaCube along and get access to 5G straight away.
Speeds up to 10x faster

We’re looking at starting at speeds which were 4G’s peak! We will be able to experience speeds of 150-200Mbps, reaching 1Gbps at peak. For businesses this opens up new doors for communication, experiencing better conference calling and interacting online in real-time.
Portability
The Huawei 5G CPE Pro weighs only about 700g (without the power adapter) which means it’s pretty easy to transport. Its portability is going to be a key benefit for businesses allowing them to take 5G with them.
This little router means mobile isn’t the only way to access your 5G on the go. If you’re in a 5G area, it gives businesses a lot more freedom.
Flexibility

The 5G GigaCube is really easy to set up and use. It’s ‘plug and play’ which means there’s no cuffuffle getting yourself connected. You can connect up to 64 devices really easily and get connected almost immediately.
Of course, the 5G GigaCube won’t be able to be used anywhere – you have to be in the cities where 5G is available. You’ll need to live in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Liverpool, Manchester or Glasgow, for the time being anyway.
