We’re thrilled to have scooped a number of awards over the past 12 months. Thanks to our talented and hardworking people, supporting customers during a challenging year, we’ve achieved recognition for excellence in customer service, being leaders in our industry and for how we look after our staff.
Here’s a round-up of the year and a look ahead at what’s to come.
Mobile Industry Awards (MIA)
Back in September we had double success at the Mobile Industry Awards, where we were named Best Mobile Service and Solution Provider and honoured for our Business Growth.
The Best Mobile and Solution Provider Award recognises the achievements of unified communications dealers, mobile dealers and managed service providers in giving businesses a competitive edge.
Our aim is to provide technology and solutions that go above and beyond the norm to give businesses we work with the advantage in an increasingly competitive world. Both of these awards underline how our customers benefit from our scale and the expertise of our teams.
South Coast Tech Awards (SCTA)
We know that Onecom is a great place to work, and we’re not shy of saying so – but it’s wonderful to have recognition from others. In October we were delighted to have been named Tech Employer of the Year at the South Coast Tech Awards.
So, what is it about working at Onecom that so impressed the panel? Our submission focused on several things which come together in our People Plan. This includes our employee benefits, our Career development schemes and commitment to the Investors in People scheme, which has seen us achieve Gold accreditation. So now we remain focused on working towards Platinum status!
Vodafone
To top off a brilliant month, we were named Vodafone Strategic Partner of the Year – taking the top title for the 10th year running. We were proud to receive this award which underlines not only the strength of our relationship with Vodafone, but also the expertise of our teams in delivering innovative, tailored business communications solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
To have received this award for the 10th year running is testament to the training, commitment and hard work of our sales and solutions teams around the UK.
Investors in People Awards (IIP)
Our people are the heart of our business – and strong leadership plays a vital role in bringing out the best in them. We were overjoyed to have seen that recognised with a win at the Investors In People Awards in November, in the Leadership and Management (250+employees) category.
We were praised for our work and investment in developing a diverse leadership team that leads by example and has a clear sense of purpose which is evidently communicated throughout the business.
While we didn’t take home the top gong, we were also proud to be Finalists in the Digital Change and Transformation category at the Digital Experience Awards (DXA) and Best Dealer at the Mobile News Awards (MNA).
It’s brilliant to be recognised for our continued growth and success, particularly after transforming our business to adapt to the current climate. We look forward to seeing what this year will bring – watch this space!
