“Onecom took us through how their single operational service portal for all services will work, how clear processes will be followed and how governance will be ensured. We have a regular series of executive, account management and service team meetings with Onecom, which are not just about resolving any ongoing issues, but about making the most of our new services at a strategic level.”

Onecom's integrated communications strategy included a new contact centre, a new MPLS network and LAN infrastructure to support unified communications, and mobile network all delivered and managed as a single service. “Onecom grasped our imperative to improve the customer experience, and they clearly demonstrated they understood how to federate and manage new models of cloud-based connectivity to achieve business outcomes.” concluded Richard.

The project was focussed on delivering success in four key areas for Scania (Great Britain), namely :

  1. Enhancing the customer experience across their 50 UK service centres
