We’re delighted to be announced as finalists in three categories at the 2021 Cloud Excellence Awards, which recognise the very best of the UK’s cloud industry.
Organised by Computing, the leading information resource for UK technology decision makers, the awards honour the most innovative and compelling products and vendors.
We’re in the final running for a trio of awards following entries all involving our OneCloud platform, which empowers business to seamlessly migrate to the cloud and enables services from multiple providers to be consumed through a single portal.
At the start of the Coronavirus crisis we worked with countless organisations to equip them to work in the cloud, empowering remote working and ensuring continuity during an incredibly challenging time.
One of those was the British Red Cross – we used OneCloud to enable the charity’s staff and volunteers to continue working and quickly set up a national hotline to support those who were vulnerable or struggling. We’re proud to see this vital work recognised with a nomination in the category for ‘Best Cloud Transformation in the Pandemic’.
Next, we’re finalists in the ‘Best Use of AI in the Cloud’ category for our work with Laithwaite’s Wine. We developed an AI-powered “wine bot” for the online wine retailer, using Google Cloud integrated into OneCloud.
Finally, OneCloud itself is in the running for the ‘Most Innovative Cloud Product or Service – Infrastructure’ award.
The winners of the Cloud Excellence Awards 2021 will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, September 23rd. Wish us luck!
